His mother's side of the family have been in the industry dating back 2 generations. Cameron is the great Nephew of Oscar-Nominated Cinematographer Stanley Cortez. His father is an urban architect who graduated from Les Beaux-Arts in Paris.　　He was raised trilingual, (French, English and Spanish).　　Cameron spent his Summers studying at prestigious drama institutions like The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, Groundlings Improv, Upright Citizen's Brigade, and the Stanislavsky School of Acting in LA.
