1、耶稣全名Jeshua ben Joseph，是基督宗教教义的中心人物，也是基督宗教的创始人。基督原意为受膏者，指上帝敷以圣膏而派其降世的救世主，本为尊称，后常与耶稣连称，也有人称他为拿撒勒人耶稣。
2、传统基督教神学观点认为耶稣生于伯利恒，而历史学观点则认为耶稣生于加利利的拿撒勒。据《圣经》记载，耶稣被犹太教士控告，因而钉死在十字架上，第三天耶稣复活，并向门徒显示，并叫他们摸他的手或肋旁以证明复活的他确实依然有骨肉的身体，后来升到天上到天父的右边。
3、基督教大多数教派认为：耶稣是《新约》中所预言的救世主，是上帝耶和华的儿子。
