In my opinion, I quite agree with what they said.
To be honest, I have to admit that some of the criminals indeed reform themselves, however, it is no exaggeration to say that there are still a large part of them would commit offence again. This phenomenon is due to both the internal and external reasons.
The internal reason is that the criminals’ dearth of self-discipline. When they leave the prison, they would meet a variety of individuals in society, such as their former friends and classmates, or even the unruly ones. Therefore, if they do not have strong sense of self-control, they are easily accessible to act crime again.
In addition, the external reason is because of the discrimination from other individuals in society. A lot of citizens despise the criminals even if they have set free from the prisons.
